1. Core General Education : It is required to complete at least one course from each particular section of 3 2. Major-related General Studies 2-1. Major-related General Studies(Foreign Languages other than English) : It is required to select one language among German, French, Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Spanish and complete 6 credits. (Basic, Advanced or Ⅰ, Ⅱ in the same language chosen) 2-2. Major-related General Studies : It is required to complete ADVANCED ENGLISH(IFLS283). 2-3. All students who enter the Department of English Language and Literature from 2014 and onwards are required to take Major-Related General Studies courses ENGL107 (Survey of English Linguistics) and ENGL108(Survey of British and American Literature) in order to graduate. 3. It is required to complete 41 credits as General Studies in total. 4. Limitation on recognition of majors : In the Department of English Language and Literature, credits which are recognized as majors of English Language and Literature are 12 at a maximum in case of completing 200 unit major courses. 5.
